الملخص

يُعتبر التدخين بأشكاله المختلفة عامل خطر رئيسي للإصابة بتصلب الشرايين، وأمراض القلب التاجية، واضطرابات الأوعية الدموية الطرفية. الهدف: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم تأثير تدخين السجائر على مستويات الدهون والهيموجلوبين في الدم لدى المدخنين الذكور البالغين مقارنةً بغير المدخنين. المواد والأساليب: أُجريت هذه الدراسة على ستين شخصًا، ثلاثون منهم مدخنون وثلاثون غير مدخنين (مجموعة الضبط). تم قياس متوسط ​​مستويات الدهون والهيموجلوبين في الدم لدى المدخنين وغير المدخنين. النتائج: انخفض مستوى الهيموجلوبين لدى المدخنين بشكل ملحوظ مقارنةً بغير المدخنين (p<0.05)، بينما اختلفت مستويات الكوليسترول الكلي (CHOL)، والكوليسترول الضار (LDL)، والكوليسترول النافع (HDL) لدى المدخنين اختلافًا ملحوظًا مقارنةً بمجموعة الضبط (p<0.05)، في حين لم يختلف مستوى الدهون الثلاثية (TG) اختلافًا ملحوظًا (p>0.05) مقارنةً بمجموعة الضبط. الخلاصة: كان هناك تأثير لتدخين السجائر على الهيموجلوبين ودهون الدم (الكوليسترول، والكوليسترول الضار، والكوليسترول النافع)، ولم يكن هناك تأثير لتدخين السجائر على مستوى الدهون الثلاثية لدى المدخنين.
